Thank you for listing the music used in each episode – I love Conversations From A Long Marriage, both Roger and Joanna are wonderful in it and the music is mainly my era and fits so well within each episode. I do hope it will come back for a 6th series.
Can anyone possibly tell me who sings “The Lady’s Still Around” in Series 4 Episode 5 or 6. (I forget which.) Sarah Eyden appears to be most associated with the song, but I don’t think it’s her. This singer has a truly fantastic voice. Thanks
I came here to find the answer to this! Still no luck 😔
Hi Henry and Michelle, it’s sung by Elaine Delmar.
Writer Jan Etherington kindly shared the full playlist with us, with all the songs she personally selected up to series 5!

And the song was written by Denis King who composed Black Beauty theme.

It’s attributed to the Beatles producer George .Martin
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this! I’ve been trying to do this on my own but can’t remember the names of them all. GREAT memories. <3
A series which is such a joy to listen to. An added bonus are the selected songs…. such memories and so cleverly incorporated. Thank you for sharing.
Help help. I love the music in series 5 – I will always be with you ( something like that!) sounds like the Beatles. But I can’t confirm it please help

Please, please do the other series when you can.
As the creator and writer of Conversations…I also choose all the music ( I’m a control freak and ex music journalist). I will send the list of tracks from all six series. Series 6 starts on May 19th in our new post Archers slot ..Mondays at 2.15.

Thank you so, so much, Jan, for everything! ❤️
Jan, Roger, and Joanna – thank you so much for such enjoyable series (plural!)!
The humour, the oh-so-recognisable irritations, the mixture of fun and sadness. So skilfully done, & so skilfully realised.
I would love to know what all the music was – particularly the very last track of series 6.
Thank you again!
Best wishes
Margaret
