    3. I think they would be fools not to continue the series it is really hard to find good shows that are new i’m really hoping that the British tv shows are not becoming American fide if so I really will stop watching TV altogether.

  3. Please hurry with season 2 of Murder in Provence. Love Roger Allam. Became a big fan of his after “Endeavour ” series which I’ve watched at least 4 times. Also a fan of Nancy Carroll previously from “Father Brown”. Keep ’em coming, Britbox

      1. Murder in Provence is a co-production between BritBox and ITV. Britbox was dissolved 3 months ago. There is no official cancellation but season 2 seems to be shelved until ITV takes a decision to renew or officially cancel the series.

          1. Britbox is only available on ITVX. There no longer is an app or a website. ITV seems to have stopped creating original content for BritBox, and it has become a library for UK television shows.

          2. Interestingly enough here in the USA, it is still showing at Britbox, I still pay my monthly fee to them as well. I have noticed that some programs have the ITV logo on it. I really enjoy many of the shows on Britbox.

          3. I’m in Texas and get the Brit Box app through Sling on my smart tv. They still have a website here, which I check for new shows. Everything I see indicates Brit Box is continuing to create original shows.

        3. I have a subscription of BritBox via Amazon Prime in the States. It is very much alive and kicking, including charging my credit card $6.99 a month 🙂

        4. Itv sold off their share of britbox to bbc. Britbox is still available in US, etc and all britbox shows are available with itv premium subscription in the UK

  18. I absolutely love this series. One of the best I’ve ever seen. Everything about it is perfect. The acting, especially the chemistry between the different characters, the script, the settings – everything. Somehow it all works together to create a completely authentic and engaging whole. I am desperate for more episodes. Thank you M. Carlson for the link to the production company contact form which I am going to use right now to add my voice to the requests for more series.

  24. Also love Murder in Provence and want to have a Season 2. It has “older” stars who have fantastic conversations about prostate & hot flashes. It has great supporting actors as her mom, his Deputy Commissioner, and others.

  25. Britbox is bringing back Karie Pirie for season 2 which was awful but not bringing back Murder in Provence which was great. Was it a budget issue being filmed in France? I loved the cast.

  32. Murder in Provence is a wonderful series and has a ton of fans! Author M.L. Longworth has really hit it with Verlaque and Bonnet in her books and on screen. The sooner the better for Series 2!

  35. I just discovered Murder in Provence this afternoon. I love the actors, well known to me from their prior shows. I’m in the USA so am seeing it on BritBox.
    I will search for owners of BritBox to request a long term continuation. It’s an intelligent show with absolutely wonderful scenery & very talented actors!

    Please continue to write future series. The present characters are interesting enough and strong enough to explore in other episodes. The stories are brilliant. The humour is very infectious. The American audience interest has completely restored my faith in their good sense and taste. We are inundated with boxed sets of violence and overacting. This is a wonderful antidote to that diet of media indulgence

  46. We loved the setting. The dialogue was very well crafted particularly in the relationship between Antoine and Marine, and Hélène. It is definitely one of the better quality series. We look forward to the next one.

  56. I still watch the first season and wish for more. It’s still a lovely glimpse of romance, intrigue and beautiful settings. Love the characters and their attitudes. Please make more seasons.
